Programs & Toolkit
What if....
Students want to show up
Teachers want to stay
Families want to engage
MCF offers three core areas of focus: Mental Health Support, Attendance, and Special Needs. Each program is grounded in neuroscience, designed for real-world school settings, and supported by practical tools that create meaningful, lasting change across the entire school community.

Learning to Respond Instead of React
What if your students were regulated instead of reactive?
MCF Mental Health Support programs equip both educators and students with neuroscience-based tools to manage stress, regulate emotions, and navigate challenges with greater resilience. By strengthening self-regulation and co-regulation across the school community, these programs help create environments where students feel safe, connected, and ready to learn, and where educators have the support they need to succeed.
Key areas include:
- Neuroscience of stress, nervous system regulation, and focus
- Practical de-escalation and regulation strategies for classroom and campus settings
- Evidence-based self-care practices that reduce burnout and sustain educator performance
- Building shared language and consistent mental wellness routines across staff and students

An Attitude of Attendance
What if students missed school less because they actually wanted to be there?
Chronic absenteeism is often a symptom of deeper challenges, not the root problem itself. This initiative helps schools create a culture where students want to show up, engage, and succeed. Built on practices that have improved attendance by up to 25%, the program combines proven strategies, family engagement, staff support, and proactive systems to address barriers to attendance while strengthening school culture and student connection.
Key areas include:
- Understanding and addressing the root causes of absenteeism, including anxiety, disengagement, trauma, and access barriers
- Building meaningful adult-student and school-family connections so students feel supported, valued, and genuinely missed when absent
- Creating proactive attendance systems and interventions aligned across all tiers of MTSS to identify needs early and provide the right level of support
- Fostering a schoolwide culture of belonging, engagement, and accountability that inspires students to show up, participate, and succeed

Every Learner, Every Setting
What if every student, regardless of need, had a team that knew exactly how to support them?
Autism and Special Needs initiative equips educators, paraprofessionals, campus leaders, and families with practical, neuroscience-informed tools that strengthen regulation, reduce behavioral challenges, and create structured environments where every student can engage, learn, and succeed.
Key areas include:
- Building regulation, self-management, and de-escalation skills through neuroscience-informed practices that support student success
- Implementing proactive behavioral supports and antecedent-based strategies that prevent challenges before they escalate
- Creating sensory-aware, structured learning environments that reduce stress and increase student engagement
- Establishing consistent language, expectations, and support practices across educators, support staff, and families

These highly interactive experiences help families and community members understand, reinforce, and actively support the skills and strategies being implemented at school. Trainings can be delivered as a program launch, midpoint reinforcement, and end-of-program celebration, helping sustain momentum, recognize progress, and support long-term success.
Science-Based Certifications
MCF's flagship certification equips educators, counselors, coaches, and administrators with practical, evidence-based tools grounded in neuroscience, physiology, and psychology. Available across mental health support, attendance, and special needs, the certification combines live instruction, on-demand learning, personalized feedback, and real-world application strategies that participants continue using long after the training is complete.
Implementation Support and Strategic Guidance
MCF partners with district and campus leaders to turn training into sustainable practice. Support may include discovery meetings, implementation planning, leadership consultations, dedicated strategic guidance, and ongoing collaboration to align implementation efforts with district priorities and maximize long-term impact.
Assessment and Continuous Improvement
MCF helps districts measure progress, guide decision-making, and demonstrate outcomes through pre-, mid-, and post-program assessments, implementation monitoring, participation tracking, and actionable reporting. These insights help schools identify successes, address challenges, and continuously strengthen results over time.
